Sunstone...All about the sunny side of healing

I have always loved the feeling of Sunstone.  It gives me the feeling of a sunny day outside, with the sun shining on me, flooding me with warm and strength.  I've always felt that I needed it in my energy field when working on psychic and healing energies.  Let's find out why.

This mineral can be used to both clear and energize the chakras.  The energy is one of feeling as though you've just taken a much needed bath after working in the yard.  If you've ever gone to the beach, stayed all day, taken a shower, gotten dressed to go out to eat...it's that look, you look at yourself in the mirror and say "You look good".  The appearance of your physicality seems to have been scrubbed clean.  It can be used to dissipate fearfulness, alleviate stress and increase vitality.

Indigenous Canadians used Sunstone in rituals of the medicine wheel.  To show to the spirit guides the connection with the golden white healing light of the sun.  The Sunstone is placed in the center of the medicine wheel, during contact with the spirit guides, the stone has emitted a golden glow.

As I said, I've always felt the need for it during energy work.  Perhaps the ancient Indians, from India, felt this as well, as they used Sunstone to provide protection from the destructive forces of the other realms.

The point of this particular blog is that sometimes you simply feel the need to have a particular gemstone on your person or in your environment.  That means that you're picking up on certain vibrations from that mineral that speak to your own highest vibration.  Listen to your instincts, following your hunches....your consciousness is speaking to you on levels that don't always need to be researched out....just followed.
